How do I turn it on?

Hold the power button for about 2 seconds to turn the toy on. Once it is on, you can press the button to switch between movement modes.

What do the different light colors mean?

The toy has different movement speeds so you can choose the best pace for your cat. Red is Normal mode, Blue is Slow mode, and Purple is Fast mode.

Which mode should I start with?

We recommend starting with Slow mode first, especially if your cat is cautious, young, older, or easily startled. If your cat is more playful or chase-driven, you can try Normal or Fast mode.

Does it need batteries?

No disposable batteries are needed. The Interactive Cat Ball is rechargeable with the included charging cable.

How do I know when it is charging?

When charging, the red light blinks. When it is fully charged, the red light stays solid.

What surfaces does it work best on?

It works best on smooth indoor floors like hardwood, tile, laminate, and low-pile rugs. Thick carpet or very soft surfaces may slow the movement.

Is it good for indoor cats?

Yes. It is designed to give indoor cats a moving target to chase, bat, and investigate, which can help make playtime more engaging.

Can kittens use it?

Kittens may enjoy it, but we recommend using Slow mode first and supervising play. Some kittens may need time to get comfortable with a moving toy.

Should I supervise my cat while using it?

Yes. We recommend supervising play, especially at first. This is an interactive play toy, not a chew toy, and cats should not be allowed to chew or swallow the rope, shell, or small parts.

Is the string removable?

Yes. The string is easily removable and is attached via a plastic screw type attachment that unscrews and screws back on easily.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the outside of the toy with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not soak the toy or submerge it in water because it contains electronic parts.
